You guys know I'm typing this from a camp, right? If you're viewing this some minutes, hours, or even a couple days after it was made, then you know we're in the same room, essentially.
I am currently attending the digital media camp in my town. This camp has actually been pretty enjoyable. Here, in the small chance that you didn't know, I'll tell you why.
We've been taking a class actually about blogging. It may seem somewhat fruitless at first, but I hadn't actually done it before. I've gotten to know my fellow campers a bit more since the blogging class started. However, my real favorite computer class has been the iMovie class. We've drawn storyboards (in which I stole a moment to doodle), watched some videos on a woman that creates pictures to sand, and created some music in GarageBand. I only played around with the program for about an hour, but I made a song I'm really proud of.
My second favorite part of the camp (though it really shouldn't be second) is the people I've met here. I met some friends I've known for a long time here, but I've also gotten to know some new people, though I'm still too shy to mention anyone specifically yet. I feel more comfortable getting to know people here.
My third favorite is the field trips we've been taking. Just last week, we went to our state college. We had a great lunch at the cafeteria, and got to see the studio there. I didn't even know they had one here!
Overall, this camp has really helped me in learning some things in digital media. There is a friendly staff too. I really enjoy it here.
